T: Dear students who completed the Spring Spanish 1 A, 2008 class at SCAES:
T: I wish you all the very best in your future studies you’d be pursuing, either when learning a new language or any other discipline of the modern world we live in.
T: It was a pleasure to meet you all and to share with you what I know of my mother tongue. I enjoyed this learning and teaching experience very much because you are excellent students and made each class a fun experience.
T: I hope you will come back to this Blog some time soon to contribute with your posts, questions and anecdotes and I’ll be looking forward to meeting with you again, in the near future, to practice live (in real life) what we've learned in this course.
T: It’s good to learn a new language because it's good for our brain, it increases our knowledge, it improves our understanding of other cultures and sometimes it also helps us in our professional life.
T: Best wishes and kind regards to all,
G

Hola G
There is a dictionary as well in the website and I liked it very much. That was how I got led to the website.
Please let me know if you get around to teaching the next level and if I am still around I will be keen to take it. I think I might do a better job at preserving what I have learnt this time compared to all other classes I have taken like martial art etc :).
I am already looking for any side by side Spanish-English text on buses, anything I buy :) Definitely, it would be great to keep in touch with you through your blog and i will try to. And I dont mind if you wouldlike to keep this exchange as part of the blog.
Thanks for all the fun learning this beautiful language !

Hola Sumesh,
= Thanks for the information about the dictionary - It seems to be a blog.
I'm sure you got all the email addresses I have for your co-students/classmates and perhaps you can also forward them this information. This is the type of blog I'd like to have with my students, but I don't know if I will get to that. It depends very much on the students.
Have a nice rest of the week and I wish you to continue studying and learning Spanish. One day you could also visit Chile and keep in touch, I might be there and I will be happy to show you around.
It was great for me to have you and all the other alumnos en mi clase, I also feel it was fun to meet you, teach you and share knowledge with all of you.
All the very best and you know where to find me :)
Cordiales saludos,
G
P.S.- I guess we could post this (email exchange) on my blog... What do you> think?

Hola Sumesh:
Ahora mismo.
Right now. The library keeps the story on the whole week. Anyone can dial in and listen to it. Just go ahead and do it and you can have my blog open (where the story is posted) so you can read the words also... :)
Cordiales saludos,
Kind regards, G

Estimados alumnos:
I don't remember if I told you that the Mountain View Library - the city where I live-, has a Reading Program for kids, in English and Spanish. I, among other readers, collaborate with the Spanish program and this week I read a short story, "El Hada Primavera", in Spanish which is also posted on my Blog @ http://gogb.blogspot.com/.
The Library Program is called Dial a Story or Marque un Cuento (in Spanish).
If you'd like to listen to it, you can dial 1-650-903-6771, Option 2 for Spanish:
Please let me know what you think and if you understand my reading: I'd love to have your feedback.
Cordialmente,

Hola G,
I came across this online Spanish test that I think would be valuable to all the students in the class. I don't have away to reach everyone, but if you could send them the link, those people who are interested could take thetest and perhaps bring whatever questions they have as a result to theclass:
